YOUR GREATNESS IS NOT WHAT YOU HAVE; IT’S WHAT YOU GIVE!
When my mother, who was also my best friend, passed, I hired an accountant to do her final taxes. Through this process, I learned this retired schoolteacher generously gave more than 20% of her income to charities. Mom was the most generous person I have known!

Her generosity, love, and compassion for others stuck with and influenced me throughout my life.

In 2020, we saw incredible suffering on a global scale that impacted many of our friends and family. I lost a friend and offer my sincere condolences to those who lost family and friends.
This past year inspired me to add the importance of Giving to the PATH TO FINANCIAL FREEDOM STRATEGY CHART. I recognize we all must continously give back. Today more than ever.

After a tough year, I urge all to lend a helping hand whether it be joining a charity, donating money, or simply volunteering a few hours of our time.
As this year comes to a close, I hope that I wrote a few blogs that you were able to enjoy and gain knowledge from. I look forward to continuing to share my lessons learned to help others achieve their financial freedom.
My family wishes you all Health, Safety, and Joy. And a MUCH better 2021!

I am a proud nerd (as my beautiful wife and daughter have told me) investment and finance blogger with an N.C. State, Chemical Engineering, University Rutgers, MBA and Harvard University, Advanced Management education.
I left a corporate career because I desired to make a difference as a speaker and writer. I was blessed to be coached and mentored by strong women and men in my family and professional life. It is my time to serve and give back.
