KHAN ACADEMY IS SO GOOD THEY SHOULD CHARGE YOU!

While attending high school and college, Sal Khan did a lot of tutoring and continuously found himself drawn to educational projects. After graduating MIT with four degrees he took a job at a hedge fund. In 2004, Sal Khan, started tutoring his 12-year-old cousin Nadia in math. That soon evolved into distance online tutoring with 15 cousins. Which then motivated him to launch a FREE online learning website, KHAN ACADEMY. I, along with 100 million other students have studied several Khan Academy classes and benefited from the knowledge provided.
KHAN ACADEMY MAY HELP YOUR KIDS DO MORE THAN SURVIVE AT HOME SCHOOLING
Due to COVID-19, 50% or more of public schools will fully or partially rely on distance learning. Khan Academy offers easy lessons on the below three major subjects, plus many more:
- Math
- English
- Writing

.
ADAPTING TO HELP YOU!

Before the pandemic, on a typical school day Khan Academy was seeing 30 million minutes of online learning globally. Now, that number has tripled to 90 million minutes per day.
When the pandemic crisis hit, Khan led an instantaneous pivot and fine-tuned the online learning platform specifically to serve students, parents and teachers who were suddenly faced with distance learning for the very first time. Detailed daily classroom schedules were created for all age groups.Parents, teachers and students can look at this template and further customize very good and actionable plans.
Khan Academy is also increasing the number of its classes to prepare students for the grade they are entering. They now offer grades 3 -8 Get Ready tutorials to help ensure students have their prerequisites for entering that grade.
DO NOT FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE TO RE-CREATE SCHOOL FOR YOUR KIDS OR ELSE YOU ARE A FAILURE!
Your kid will be fine if he or she invests just 30 minutes in each of these three subjects: Reading, Writing, and Math. Then, to help them retain the knowledge you can coax (bribing is acceptable) them to discuss what they read or what they wrote with you. And you might enjoy the conversation!
Khan takes advice from his three preteens very seriously. He regularly leverages his personal experience as a father (and tutor) to his own kids as a way to “inform his intuition” at Khan Academy.
CONCLUSION

EDUCATION
We are in challenging times and things may not return to pre-Covid-19 normal, until 2022 or longer. We must continue to adapt, and young students must continue their education journey. I believe education is the first building block to a financially stable and successful life. Khan Academy is a tool to facilitate that adaptation.
Khan Academy is now the world’s largest educational platform with more than 100 million registered users. Users globally log 1.5 billion minutes of online usage per month in 100 countries and 46 languages. By the way it’s FREE! Khan Academy is a nonprofit that still must beg and borrow for funding.
If you, like Bill Gates, find this tool is valuable for your kids’ education, consider making a donation.
